Terms of Service
Last updated: August 22, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Golf Guru coaching app at app.golfguru360.com, operated by Get A Grip Golf Performance, LLC, doing business as Golf Guru (“Golf Guru,” “we,” “us”), at 2183 W Sombra Ave, Apache Junction, AZ 85120. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. See also our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.
The service
Golf Guru is a golf coaching platform: practice and round tracking, lesson videos and coaching feedback from your coach, drills, a community feed, and an AI coaching assistant. It's a tool that supports real, in-person or otherwise coach-led instruction — it doesn't replace it.
Accounts
An account can be created by your coach adding you directly, or by anyone signing up on their own with their own email — Golf Guru doesn't require an existing invite. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to create an account.
Your coach can invite others (a parent, a grandparent) to log into your account under their own separate email and password. Anyone invited this way has the exact same access you do — your dashboard, videos, progress, and the ability to purchase or manage plans — not a limited view. You (or your coach) can revoke that access at any time.
Physical activity and assumption of risk
Golf, and the practice and drills this app tracks or assigns, involve physical activity and a real risk of injury, like any athletic activity. By using Golf Guru, you acknowledge that risk and agree that you are participating voluntarily and at your own risk. Coaching feedback, drills, and anything from the AI coaching assistant are informational and instructional only — they are not medical advice. Talk to a physician before starting any new physical activity if you have any health concern that warrants one.
Lesson recordings
Your coach may record the audio of a lesson to help write it up afterward. When that happens, the recording is transcribed and summarized into a notes draft by AI (see our Privacy Policy for exactly which services process it), and the raw audio is kept in your coach's own Google Drive alongside your lesson videos. Your coach reviews and can edit the AI-drafted notes before they're saved to your account — a recording never posts anything on its own.
Payments, packages, and memberships
Lesson packages and memberships are purchased through PayPal. Once purchased, a package's remaining balance is tracked in your account and decreases as lessons are delivered.
[Describe your actual refund/cancellation policy here] — e.g. whether packages are refundable, partially refundable, or non-refundable; what happens to an unused balance if a client stops training; and how much notice is needed to cancel a membership before the next billing cycle. This is a real business decision, not something to guess at — replace this bracket with your actual policy before publishing.
Content you post
You own the practice notes, round data, community posts, and videos you post to Golf Guru. By posting them, you give us and your coach permission to store, display, and use that content within the app to provide the service — including hosting a video you upload as an unlisted YouTube video on your coach's own channel (see the YouTube API Services section of our Privacy Policy for exactly how that works). You're responsible for what you post: don't post anything you don't have the right to share, anything illegal, or anything that harasses or misrepresents another member. Your coach can remove content that violates these Terms, and you can remove your own post or comment at any time.
YouTube API Services
Parts of Golf Guru (lesson videos, and uploading a video to the community feed) use YouTube API Services. By using those features, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Our content
The coaching framework, written resources, and the Golf Guru app itself belong to Get A Grip Golf Performance, LLC. You may use them as part of your own coaching, but you may not copy, resell, or distribute them outside the app without our permission.
Termination
You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time — see the Privacy Policy's “Data retention and deletion” section for exactly how. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms, or if the coaching relationship it's built on ends.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Golf Guru is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Get A Grip Golf Performance, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited under Arizona law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.
Changes to these Terms
If we make a material change to these Terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
